Stefan is delighted to be back on the Eccles Stage with the talented casts and crews of UFOMT. Stefan spent the last two summers performing with The Old Lyric Repertory Company, where you may have seen him as Huckleberry Finn in last summer’s hit production of
Big River, as well as roles in
Greater Tuna and
Lend Me A Tenor. Known in the Valley for playing bad boys, Stefan is looking forward to cleaning up his "act" and playing one of his favorite roles of all time – Motel the tailor in
Fiddler on the Roof opposite his beloved wife, Vanessa Ballam. In addition to his work on stage, Mr. Espinosa also serves as the Director and Instructor for the Utah Festival Opera Conservatory, where the talented youth of Cache Valley learn and apply techniques and skills for stage performance. Stefan currently teaches theatre and dialect classes at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho, where he lives with his wife and 15-month-old son, Sebastian.
