This Musical Theatre Conservatory is for aspiring young performers ages 4-18 desiring to take their skills to the next level. The conservatory offers professional year round training in acting, dance and musical theatre, with specially designed classes for students striving to enter the musical theatre field. The classes instill self-discipline as well as enhance performance skills and audition techniques. Classes are offered at appropriate age and skill level to achieve maximum growth and experience.
SUMMER 2013
Join us for a unique, week-long intensive musical theatre training experience this summer. Students will witness, learn, and explore all aspects of musical theatre alongside the artists of Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre!
What students experience:

Backstage Tours of the Ellen Eccles Theatre.

Attendance to all Four Mainstage Productions, with talkbacks, where students will meet the artists and have all of their questions answered.

The week culminates in a Student Performance of scenes that students will prepare during the week with assistance from UFOMT music staff, artists, and choreographers.

A week filled with Workshops and Classes taught by Conservatory Director, Stefan Espinosa, and various UFOMT artists. Classes are designed based on the particular skills of that season's artists. Past workshops have included:
Stage Combat, Clowning, Dialects, Dance / Choreography,
Speech and Vocal Production, Improvisation,
