THE FESTIVAL
Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre is the place to be in the summer. Our five-week festival consists of over 100 events including four productions of grand opera, operetta, light opera, and/or seldom-seen Broadway-style musical theatre. But that's not all! You will also enjoy a wide variety of offerings such as orchestral and vocal concerts, an International Competition, continuing adult education with the Utah Festival Academy, pre-performance discussions, backstage tours, Breakfast with the Stars and so much more! There is something for everyone!

Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre is proud to announce the 1st place winner of the 3rd Annual Michael Ballam Concorso Lirico International Opera Competition:
Gabriel Preisser
Mr. Preisser will now move on to the internationally acclaimed Concorso Internazionale di Musica in Alessandria, Italy, which will take place in October, 2011.
